PUNPEE Profile :

'06年Libra主催【UMB】東京代表。トラックメイカーとしてもRhymester、Seeda、TOWA TEI、tofubeats、後藤正文等、Hip Hopアーティストを中心にトラック、REMIXを提供。2009年Akai主催によるサンプラー・バトル【MPC Gold Fingaz Kitchen】優勝など、良い言い方だと幅広く活躍中、悪い言い方だと何だかよくわからなく活動中。
自身のグループPSGでの1stアルバム『David』の発表や、グループとしてFUJI ROCK FESなどの出演、曽我部恵一との共作、block.fm主催のradio program「Mixxed bizness」の展開やRedbullのTVCM、TBS系水曜日のダウンタウンのOP他、断れない性格ゆえに色々活動(中)。
2012年には作品集MIX「Movie On The Sunday Anthology」が発売、PUNPEEの懐を少し潤わせた。
2016年国内初の3D VR配信番組、宇多田ヒカル「30代はほどほど。」にDJとして出演。
2017年1月に発売される宇多田ヒカル「光 -Ray of Hope MIX-」のオフィシャルRemixを担当し、同曲はプレイステーション用ゲームソフト「Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8」全世界共通のオフィシャル・テーマソングとして起用された。
2017年7月、ソロアーティストとして、FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL’17「WHITE STAGE」に出演。

2017年10月、初のソロアルバム『MODERN TIMES』を発表し、ワンマンツアーライブ「Journey into Mystery Tour 2017」を開催。

2018年3月、SPACE SHOWER MUSIC AWARD「BEST HIPHOP ARTIST」受賞、CDショップ大賞「準大賞」受賞。同月、自ら1stアルバムを解説した『MODERN TIMES -Commentary-』をストリーミング配信にて発表。

2018年5月、ワンマンライブ「Seasons Greetings'18」を新木場スタジオコーストにて開催。

2018年7月、DJとして、FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'18「RED MARQUEE -TRIBAL CIRCUS-」に出演。

2020年7月、1stアルバム以来となる新作「The Sofakingdom」を発表。

11月にはPUNPEEが今まで限定的に発表してきた楽曲達をコンパイルした「Small Token」、2021年3月には、「Small Token pt.2」を発表。

また、2021年4月よりTV東京にて放映がスタートするアニメ作品「オッドタクシー」の劇伴音楽を、VaVa、OMSBと共に担当した。

2022年12月に、前作「The Sofakingdom」の付録的位置付けであり、対になるような作品「Return of The Sofakingdom」を発表。

2023年3月、相鉄東急直通記念ムービー『父と娘の風景』の楽曲「タイムマシーンにのって/家族の風景」を発表した。この楽曲は、相鉄線と東急線を“つなぐ”にちなんで、制作された。

そして、10月には、シングル「Family Sale feat. 親父」を発表。この楽曲では、フィーチャリングゲストとしてPUNPEEの実父とともに制作された。

しかしまぁ、⼤事なのは今後である。P

In '06, he was the Tokyo representative for Libra's [UMB]. As a trackmaker, he has provided tracks and remixes for Hip Hop artists such as Rhymester, Seeda, TOWA TEI, tofubeats, Masafumi Goto, etc. In 2009, he won the sampler battle “MPC Gold Fingaz Kitchen” organized by Akai. He has released his first album “David” with his group PSG, performed as a group at FUJI ROCK FES, collaborated with Keiichi Sogabe, developed the radio program “Mixxed bizness” hosted by block.fm, and appeared in Redbull's TVCM, TBS Wednesday's OP, and others. In October 2017, he released his first solo album “MODERN TIMES” and held a one-man tour live “Journey into Mystery Tour 2017”.

In March 2018, he won the SPACE SHOWER MUSIC AWARD “BEST HIPHOP ARTIST” and the CD Shop Award “Runner-up Award”. In the same month, he released “MODERN TIMES -Commentary-”, his own commentary on his first album, via streaming distribution.

In May 2018, he held his one-man live “Seasons Greetings'18” at Shinkiba Studio Coast.

In July 2018, performed at FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL'18 “RED MARQUEE -TRIBAL CIRCUS-” as a DJ.

In July 2020, they released their new album “The Sofakingdom”, their first since their first album.

In November, they released “Small Token”, a compilation of songs that PUNPEE has released on a limited basis up until now, and in March 2021, they will release “Small Token pt. 2”.

In March 2021, they released “Small Token pt.2”. In addition, together with VaVa and OMSB, they were in charge of the music accompaniment for the anime work “Odd Taxi”, which will start airing on TV Tokyo in April 2021.

In December 2022, he released “Return of The Sofakingdom,” a companion piece and counterpart to his previous work “The Sofakingdom.

In March 2023, the song “On the Time Machine / Family Scenery” was released for the Sotetsu Tokyu direct connection commemorative movie “Father and Daughter Scenery”. The song was created in reference to the “connection” between the Sotetsu and Tokyu lines.

In October, the single “Family Sale feat. The song was produced with PUNPEE's own father as a featured guest.
